We had the steak sandwich and half a mushroom and cheese sandwich. Both quite yummy and good sized. The brownie was very good and rich. We shared that also. Coffee and chai were tasty."

"An awesome place to stop in for coffee and a delicious scone! Stopped here 3 times while in Swannanoa and got coffee and scones. The coffee was great each time. The scones are the best I have had! They have amazing flavors such as blackberry lavender and blueberry lemon. There were other sweet treats and sandwich options that looked delicious. The staff was also very helpful and friendly each time I visited. The interior of the shop looks small at first, but there is additional seating room off of the main small cafe, making for a large amount of seating. This place is definitely worth stopping in!"

"Happened upon this little gem by luck. Just happened to be closest to our Airbnb and looked interesting. Completely unpretentious and welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly staff. All the foods are made in house in addition to the house made syrups. We had the egg and cheese croissant with brown sugar espresso bacon, and grabbed a candied habanero scone for the road. The spicy diablo mocha, with an added touch of cayenne was perfect, as was the brown sugar latte my wife ordered. This would definitely become a regular spot if we lived in the area."

"This place belongs in a story book! Excellent atmosphere and all made-from-scratch food. Full coffee bar options makes Starbucks like a hotdog stand for weenies. Don’t be deterred by the “abandoned strip mall” feel of the exterior! Two different seating areas whether you need to get work done efficiently at the front high bar window or some cozy lit private couch conversation or solace to write and read."
